Kofax Provides One of World’s Largest Communications Companies with an Invoice Automation Solution
System Will Capture and Classify More Than 8 Million Invoices and Expense Reports Annually
IRVINE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Kofax plc (LSE:KFX), the leading provider of Intelligent Capture Exchange solutions, today announced it will provide one of the world’s largest providers of cable, entertainment and communications products serving millions of cable, high-speed Internet and digital telephone customers with an enterprise-level automated invoice and expense report processing solution.
The company will use the solution to capture and exact data from more than 8 million invoices and expense reports annually and export the information into an Oracle Financials-based application. As a result, the organization will be able to automate manual, labor-intensive paper-based business processes, reduce costs and improve their operational efficiency. It will further ensure that extracted information from paper documents is accurate and valid before it is used, resulting in fewer exceptions, improved data quality and faster processing times.
“Large organizations with manual invoice and expense report processing are seeking ways to automate these paper-intensive tasks to reduce costs, save time and improve operational efficiency,” said Alan Kerr, Executive Vice President of Field Operations at Kofax. “This sale demonstrates the power and value of Kofax solutions to transform a cumbersome, paper-based process into an automated system that is fast, efficient, accurate and cost-effective.”
The customer will be implementing a full complement of Kofax software. This includes: Kofax Capture, the world’s leading information capture platform, which automates data capture from scanned paper or imported electronic documents and offers enterprise-class features such as high availability and disaster recovery for mission-critical implementations; and Kofax Transformation Modules, which intelligently automate the classification, sorting and separation of paper and electronic documents, and then extracts and validates the accuracy of the information they contain.
